Thanks to a grant from the Parish Council, Achurch residents have been able to purchase bulbs to brighten up their village with spring flowers
Village gates have been installed on the entrance to Thorpe Waterville from Achurch. The gates are a highly visible way of alerting motorists that they are entering a residential area and it is hoped that the installation will prompt drivers to slow down. The gates have been funded by a grant from the Northamptonshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner's (PFCC) Grant Scheme.
Gates have also been installed at the Thorpe side of Achurch with a further set in the pipeline for installation on the Lilford side in the next few weeks. This project has been made possible with further funding from the Northamptonshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner's (PFCC) Grant Scheme, and from the Unitary Ward Councillors Members Empowerment Fund.
